Paris is a very beautiful city, it is well known for the splendour of the Louvre and the Seine by night - these make fabulous photographs.
However the thing which caught me, on the trip was the elegance of Paris St Germain and in particular walking along Rue de l'Universite. This quite back street is dotted with charming bookshops, cafes, boulangerie, fashionable boutiques , decadent antiques, delightful courtyards, SciencePo (one of frances most elite schools - preparation for the political elite), it is so charming.
Traveler Description: This 7th Arrondisement street has numerous traditional Parisian boutiques and cafés.
The only thing spoiling it was the french traffic and the aggressive nature of Paris even spread to this charming quarter of Paris St-Germain!
